18th edition of Meetings on the Bridge will be held on 12-14 April 2023.

NEIGHBOURS PLATFORM APPLICATIONS ARE OPEN NOW

 

Meetings on the Bridge, organised by Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts within the scope of Istanbul Film Festival and with the support of Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Culture and Tourism, accepts Neighbours Platform applications. Deadline is 17 February 2023.

 

Supported by Anadolu Efes, Meetings on the Bridge continues introducing directors, producers and scriptwriters from Turkey and its neighbouring countries to international film professionals. Meetings on the Bridge will be held on 12-14 April 2023.

 

In 2015, Meetings on the Bridge started the Neighbours Platform in order to initiate new collaborations between filmmakers and film institutions from Turkey and its neighbouring countries. Projects and film professionals from neighbouring countries are invited to this workshop, which aims to provide a platform of collaboration between individuals and institutions while they develop mutual stories.

 

Until now 40 projects from 9 countries have been selected to Neighbours Platform that will be held on 12-14 April 2023. Entwined (Minos Nikolakakis), Smuggling Hendrix (Marios Piperides), Ava (Sadaf Foroughi), Neighbours (Grigol Abashidze), Radiogram (Rouzie Hassanova) ve My Favorite Fabric (Gaya Jiji) had their international premieres at prestigious festivals such as Cannes, Toronto, Tribeca, Sofia and Dubai.

 

Projects can be submitted via invitation. Deadline for application is 17 February 2023.

 

Project teams from the neighbouring countries of Turkey are welcome to apply.
