Venezia Shorts is part of the TOP 100 MOST POPULAR FILM FESTIVAL on FilmFreeway, as well as an IMDb qualifying competition with CASH PRIZES and a Live Event in the heart of Venezia.
Our main goal at VENEZIA SHORTS is to showcase brilliant projects in the beautiful city of Venezia for a diverse audience of cinephiles. We will promote, feature and screen all MAIN COMPETITION AWARD WINNING FILMS in a LIVE EVENT that takes place every year in the heart of Venezia at LA CASA DEL CINEMA, enhancing the opportunity for networking with directors, cast, crew and people from the industry.

Additionally, we will hold interviews with filmmakers that will be published on our social media and on the NEWS section of our website.
All Semi Finalist’s films from each season will receive the corresponding Official Laurels and will be screened in our quarterly Online Event.
Quarterly, our judges will choose the SHORT OF THE SEASON which will receive a special CASH PRIZE AWARD OF USD 1000.
All the Winners will receive the Official Laurels and the winning-category achievement certificate.
