Green Bay Film Festival is screening award-winning film ‘Drawer Boy’ Oct. 20 at Tarlton Theatre
The Green Bay Film Festival welcomes audiences to its new home at the Tarlton Theatre for a special screening Oct. 20 of “The Drawer Boy,” an award-winning selection from our past festival.
The Tarlton, 405-409 West Walnut Street in downtown Green Bay, features booth seating and a menu of classic and modern American cuisine along with craft beverages at full-service bars.
About “The Drawer Boy” (2017)
A young actor researching a play takes a job as a laborer on a farm owned by lifelong friends. But he finds that his presence has a destabilizing effect on the men's friendship.
The film has an 88% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. In addition to winning the 2018 Green Bay Film Festival’s Audience Choice Award, “The Drawer Boy” took home top prizes from the Anchorage Film Festival (2017), Canadian Film Fest (2018), Canadian Screen Awards (2019), Heartland International Film Festival (2019), Morelia International Film Festival (2017), Oxford (Miss.) Film Festival (2018), Ozark Foothills Film Festival (2018) and Sedona International Film Festival (2018).
