The official poster of the 54th Directors' Fortnight is based on "Blue Flight", a photo-performance by multidisciplinary artist Cecilia Paredes.
Born in Lima, Cecilia Paredes lives and works between Peru and the United States. Her work explores the themes of nature and the interaction between the body and its environment.
Both visible and invisible, the artist blends into the image she creates, much like filmmakers do in their films.
