Berlinale 2022 To Be an In-Person Event

The 72nd Berlin International Film Festival will take place from February 10 to 20, 2022 as an in-person event. The European Film Market (February 10-17, 2022), the Berlinale Co-Production Market (February 12-16, 2022), Berlinale Talents (February 12-17, 2022) and the World Cinema Fund will focus on on-site offerings. Perspektive Deutsches Kino

Berlinale and Deutsche Filmakademie Are Realigning Their Cooperation: "Perspektive Match"

The Berlinale section Perspektive Deutsches Kino has been devoting itself to the new generation of filmmakers for 20 years. Every year, its programme presents directors with their first films. In 2022, the section will broaden its programme with “Perspektive Match” and thus also realigns its cooperation with the Deutschen Filmakademie (German Film Academy).
