Caorle Independent Film Festival: also this year boom of registrations
Among the highlights of the 4th edition: Caorle Unveiled, the social video contest dedicated to Caorle (Venice, Italy) and a fundraising campaign.
At midnight July 20, submissions for the 4th edition of the Caorle Independent Film Festival (CIFF) officially closed. This cultural event, sponsored by the City of Caorle and the Veneto Region, has become a regular event for lovers and experts of independent cinema.
CIFF, born in 2018 from the will of Caorle Film Cultural Association, valorizes precisely that niche of artists who create and produce their works without the help of a big production company and that are hardly distributed in theaters: the independent cinema.
The festival, which will be held in Caorle (the Pearl of the Adriatic Sea, near Venice, Italy),
brings the seventh art to the streets of a town where there are still no movie theaters.
Therefore, also this year the organizers are immensely satisfied because, edition after edition, they continue to register an increasing number of short films, feature films, documentaries, animated films, web series and pilot episodes from all over the world.
Shortly after one month from the opening of registrations, which took place in February this year, the number of participants was already promising: more than 150 registered, among which 102 officially selected to participate in the 4th edition that will take place from 21 to 25 September at the "Andrea Bafile" Cultural Center, thus exceeding the number of participants registered in the last edition.
Not only works from Italy and European countries, but also from non-European countries such as the United States, Argentina, Israel, South Korea, the United Kingdom and many others.
"It's always a great pleasure to see the number of CIFF subscribers increasing every year.
This shows us that we are going in the right direction," commented Andrea Malpighi, Creative Director of the Festival.
Among this year's many novelties, a social video contest open to everyone and entitled "Caorle Unveiled", organized in collaboration with Caorle Tourism, to promote the town in the province of Venice that represents the backdrop of the festival.

Caorle Film Festival 2021
The social video contest, which started on July 18, will end on September 10, 2021: to participate, all you have to do is shoot a 60-second video (a reel) from your mobile phone, follow the CIFF Instagram and Facebook pages, tag the video @CaorleFilmFestival and @CaorleTourism, using the hashtags #caorlefilmfestival and #caorleindependentfilmfestival.
Up for grabs a dinner for two in one of the CIFF's partner restaurants or, for those who can't attend, a typical local tasting experience to be savored directly at home (for more information visit www.caorlefilmfestival.com/socialvideocontest/).
Moreover, on the initiative of the organizers of the festival, a fundraising on the well-known crowdfunding site Indiegogo has been organized in order to successfully realize an edition which will meet the increasing expectations of the participants.
Another positive sign of great expansion of the festival.
